It’s pretty hard to believe that it’s officially December! I feel like this year has flown by so fast, but when I sit back and reflect on it I’m amazed at all that happened. I got Christmas started earlier this year (I started right after Thanksgiving Day) as I was craving the colors and decorations in our home. It’s just the best opening up those red boxes in the basements and seeing all our happy holiday decor. 🙂

One of my favorite local stores on the North East is the Christmas Tree Shops They have the best stylish and affordable options. Every year I get excited to go here and see what Christmas and holiday options they have out – it’s become somewhat of a tradition now! I love seeing the cute coastal Christmas items as well as all of the charming ideas and selections. Click here to see where the nearest Christmas Tree Shops is to you!

One thing that I like to do each year is to send some of our close neighbors a little holiday gift to let them know we are thinking of them. I’ve baked cookies in the past and really enjoy trying to think of how/what to give them a gift each year.
This year I thought it would be a fun idea to do a little candy and goodie tin with a small Nutcracker inside. I found some cute Old Fashioned Peppermint candy from the candy aisle at Christmas Tree Shops and then found all of the delicious Ghiradelli chocolates!

They also have a large selection of gift wrap and all the necessities for wrapping presents. I grabbed a few new rolls of wrapping paper, ribbons, tape, and of course the cute tins! I am always so impressed by how affordable their gift wrap selections are as well – you can get a whole lot of products for not a huge price tag.
There is also lots of fresh greenery and Christmas trees at the front of the store – I grabbed a few of the planters with fresh evergreens in them to put on our front porch! I also loved these little light-up trees for the porch. I had been searching for some and they had a really good selection of different options. The fresh trees and greens were a very good price and I got these beautiful big fresh planters below for under $20!

Once I finished up wrapping my gifts for my neighbors I put them by the front door in a little bag so that I can deliver them this week! What I like to do is put them in their mailboxes because there really isn’t anything better than getting happy mail, especially when there’s chocolate involved!

I hope this blog post inspired you for ideas on what to get your neighbors or pals this year. A little something extra really does make someone feel special and know they are loved!

Happy holidays, friends! The Christmas Tree Shops really is the store with “Every Season. Every Reason.”

Happy Holidays!
